Vikings Conference 2008: Program

The schedule is available here (pdf).

The schedule of this conference follows quite faithfully the pattern already familiar from previous conferences and schools. By its nature it is rather intensive but also characterized by long, social nutrition breaks as well as refreshing active/artistic workshops. And each day as we go towards evening the program starts to relieve your brain capacities into more practical and social activities.

After breakfast, every day will begin with morning devotionals followed by a brief information package for the day. After the devotionals will begin the main sessions of the conference, the lectures of Mr. Barney Leith followed in turn by a delicious lunch to give us some energy to get through each mind-exciting day.

In the afternoon will first be the so called "intellectual workshops" which are there to push our brains and intelligence capacities to the limit. Then after a little break one may finally leave the tough reasoning behind and move into a little more casual activities called "artistic workshops" varying from sports to arts. Then again a reviving nutrition break followed by a casual evening program where one can finally totally relax one's brains.

Last but definitely not least is the evening devotionals where one can reflect the events of the day and one's own part in contributing to the atmosphere and service tasks of the conference. As well as reflecting the ideas and thoughts risen in the workshops and lectures. Then the rest of the evening is just hanging around and socializing and of course enjoying the yummy stuff available in our evening kiosk!
